My art process to create the stack of logs began with multi-layering and coloring the homemade papier mache (from letters and journal pages) which I then cut and chopped into shorter pieces. I made the smoke from letters that I altered with the suminagashi cloud painting process, then cut the papers into spirals and suspended them from the ceiling.
