I am passionate about installation art, mixed media sculpture, collage, and printmaking. I am a listener and a feeler who follows the transitions of an inner circuitry. Committed to making relationship with the garden, the community, and studio, I have become aware that nature, people, and imagination influence me. While the influence may help or hinder, I appreciate how it helps to me to organize an aesthetic response that is unique. In making art, I follow an intuitive process reinforced with taoist meditation. My material choices, and placement of the work are intentional. My responsibility as an artist is to report the pulse of what I sense. Feeling that I am connected holistically, I articulate a crosscut of the lively systems, already in progress, in which we are all involved.
