On My Knees by Kris Lanzer
Concrete and resin
amongst flowers and bees,
bring back the days
I played on my knees.
Reflection and sparkles,
colors and mist,
infusing life’s essences
and consciousness.
Identity, desires,
like spirals and physics,
the nature of things,
of matter, and mystics.
For working, for road trips,
commuting, or birth,
whatever is driven
is part of the earth.
Wherever we go,
no matter the weather,
we are carCobbles,
in traffic, together.
*carCobbles: a population of over 250 toy cars embedded in resin.
